When their sense of fair play and what is right reaches and exceeds their own Tipping Point. Enough is enough! Jack and Cherry are sent to investigate a simple construction site accident, but it’s anything but simple. A man has died. Was this an accident or was it engineered? Jack and Cherry travel to London, North Wales, Kent, The Isle of Wight and into Ukraine to learn the truth of what was so critical it killed a family man. The investigation that Jack and Cherry embark on, reveals that the dead man was targeted by a vicious Russian gang. ‘The Clan’ that organized his death, couldn’t let the truth of their despicable human slave trade come out. The gang headed by Dragos De Santos was on a clean up mission. Cherry and Jack decided to begin their own clean up mission.

The story of these two intrepid investigators working in the construction industry continues with the discovery of activities on a piling site in Wales that just doesn’t add up.

An American contingent on site appears to be working with a different agenda to everyone else including the principal and main contractors who remain in the dark until Cherry Murphy puts all the pieces together and discovers the true reason a bunch of Americans are here and it has nothing to do with the stability of a railway line between Barmouth and Aberdyfi. North Wales on the West Coast.

The investigation takes them deep into the Yukon and further to Alaska.

The Alaskan Troopers and FBI are sceptical at first, but they soon get on board when bodies are found on an old mining site not far from Fairbanks.

Bily Drabble Ex Marine tell Jack and cherry what has just happened in The Yukon regarding 4 brutal miners who raped and killed a young girl. They had to pay and Billys military friend Norbert Gross was just the man for the job.

“Billy recounts a story of a recent night outside Dawson City, when four men started a fight against one Norwegian ex-special forces specialist with a knife.

Hesitantly, I break into the phone call and ask Billy what became of the four men he and Nobby were chasing down.

He recounts a story of a recent night outside Dawson City, when four men started a fight against one Norwegian ex-special forces specialist with a knife.

Billy explains that our Norwegian deliberately provoked a fight with the men. It wasn’t hard. The miners were high on drugs and were wired to fight.

Nobby made a derogatory comment about the manhood of one of the men and it sent all four into apoplectic spin.

They were about to lose control and Norbert took the fight to the rear of a club off the main street away from the crowds by striding out to get behind the bar quickly.

The four initially thought that Nobby had run to get away from them.

This pumped them up even more. They assumed that they had a soft target to beat on.

It appeared to the uneducated in hand-to-hand combat that Norbert had made a mistake and had manoeuvred himself with his back against a wall.

The four were wild, but Norbert faced them and calmy explained he was there to punish them and they would not live another 10 minutes.

The four were sure of their strength against one man and the odds seemed overwhelming. They were laughing, fuelled by cocaine, but they had fallen into the trap set by the commando.

They had misread the situation; they thought they had their prey cornered, trapped! But in reality, Norbert had led them into a position where they couldn’t get behind him.

Had they been able to surround him, Norbert could have had problems. Four men in front of him was not an issue for this hand-to-hand combat specialist.

His age belied his ability, he was still as fit as a butchers dog as the saying goes.

The four men were half Nobbys age but were no match for him. Four against one in this case was an unfair fight.

Nobby knew that the Alpha male would come first, followed by his best friend. They might come together but there is always an element of hesitation from the second attacker.

The third man would feel that he would have to join in, but he was not enthusiastic about it and the fourth man would rather he wasn’t there at all and would want to run.

As Nobby predicted the alpha male came forward fast with a killing weapon in his right hand. As he thrust at the Norwegians stomach, Norbert took the long bladed hunting knife off the man with a single double handed twist of his attackers wrist. The move took less than a second.

The man was confused and as mad as hell. He wanted his knife back but his thinking was slow,  before he could attack again, Norbert swiftly dropped to one knee and with a quick jab and twist, wrecked the femoral artery on his victims left leg.

The man looked down in disbelief as his primary artery sprayed blood on the floor with the rhythm of his excited heart.

The second attacker thought that Norbert would be too engaged in the afterthought of what he had just done to be ready for his next move. That would be normal for most men. But Norbert was already past that.

He held the hunting knife as though he was going for the same spot on the second man but moved down at the last second bring the knife up vertically between his victims legs, a twist on the way out would result in a 3-minute bleed out from the base of his genitalia.

A perfect punishment to fit the crime. Two men down two to go but the last man would run. Billy would stop that from happening.

The third man pulled a knife of his own and hurled himself at Norbert but with no real intent. He probably knew by now that he wasn’t up to Nobby’s standard but his macho upbringing wouldn’t let him walk or run away.

Cherry and I learned from our two marine buddies that the trick to quickly disarm attackers who have little or no discipline in a fight is to use their energy against them.

As the third man came forward, Norbert took the mans knife arm with his left hand, spun him round and slammed him into the wall behind him, as the man went down unable to attack or defend himself. His forearm was opened up by Norberts blade. Another open vein to add to the bloodied sandy floor.

Norbert completed the move rapidly by severing the man’s carotid artery with a swift lateral sweep across the side of his neck.

As foreseen, the last man ran. Billy tackled him to the ground.

As Billy’s victim tried to stand up, Norbert hit him full force with his blade down into the shoulder between the clavicle and the shoulder blade on his left side.

This action was used as an execution method by roman soldiers on men put to death. The end came quickly, but it was not immediate. The long blade had punctured the heart from above and the pain would have been excruciating.

Everything had happened so fast, all four men were left looking shocked. They looked at each other disbelievingly as their individual worthless lives slipped away. There was just enough time for the realisation  to dawn that their life blood was seeping into the dirt.

The last thing they saw was a photograph of Freda Melnyk that Norbert held in front of them.

There was a flash of confusion in their eyes and then the sudden recognition.

They had abused a young girl and ended her life without a second thought.

Now it was their turn. Their violent lives ended the way they had lived, behind a bar in the dirt where nobody knew or cared about them. A fitting end for scum of the Earth.

Billy and Norbert transported the bodies in an old pick up to the ice-cold waters of the Yukon River that took all four bodies away, there was little chance that these men would be missed and nobody was ever going to look for them.
